DECEMBER

This month has been both fun and busy! Kenneth and I celebrated 6 months :) in a very elaborate way...The Grinch at the Fox followed by the SEC Championship game at the GA dome. It was packed and nerve wracking (I despise crowds), but so much fun. We also experimented with a little face paint one night (kinda creepy), I painted another painting -- to be seen after Christmas since it's a Christmas present, and I wrapped my Christmas presents! Not to mention, the most important event this month, finals were taken and passed! I only have one semester left now...CRAZY to think about. But now this hell of a semester is behind me and I have 2 classes and an internship that stand between me and becoming a graduate of the University of Georgia. I'm kinda pumped :)

NOVEMBER

November was, by far, the busiest month of the semester. I had stuff due almost every class for the first couple of weeks. The last few were spent working on a 52 page portfolio and a 40 page paper (we had to develop a Family Life Education program...very long and tedious). Thanksgiving break came around and those were the only things I could think of! I did however, take the time of paint something new...for the first time in a few months!

I was tempted to leave the painting with just the background because it looked really cool, but the face adds a little something-something to it.

OCTOBER

One week in October, Kenneth and I decided to visit Blue Ridge and Dahlonega. We went to Mercier Orchards, visited my grandparents, and hiked to Desoto Falls. I really wish we would have had more time to explore North Georgia, but our two days of adventure were a ton of fun :)

SEPTEMBER

Mostly, this month was filled with FOOTBALL. We tailgated, went to the games, and celebrated the Dawgs' wins! Plus, I got some flowers :) It was a good month.

AUGUST

Well, not too much happened in August. School started back, I quickly was overwhelmed by all of my classes, and I combated those thoughts by going downtown. Pretty perfect plan, huh? Other than going downtown though we took part in some hardcore card playing, played some foosball, and had a ton of fun :)

NEW PROJECT!

So yes, I know I haven't been on this little blog of quite some time now (over 4 months!!), but I have a reason, I promise! School has been absolutely crazy! But more on that later, I'll do a couple of catch up posts soon...possibly one for each month?! Anywho, I finally broke down and ordered some pictures last night for my new little project. I wanted to do a "collage" of my favorite New York pictures (here we are, 9 months after the vacation and I'm still talking about it...yeah yeah...). I picked out 7 of my favorite and ordered them in a larger size. Now, I just have to get the frames and find them a new home on my walls!

I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty excited for this project :)
