BIRTHDAY WISH LIST

There's really not that much that I want for my birthday coming up...just some Tom's and a Kavu bag. I'm just excited for my main present: the TRIP TO NEW YORK! Ah, I can't wait! Only 4 more weeks!

URBAN OUTFITTERS

I think I have an addiction. Every time I even begin looking at Urban Outfitters, I end up buying multiple items. This time, I was 3 pair of shoes, a watch, and a sleeve for a wine bottle. Although I should stop buying things from that store, I don't regret any of it :)

DAY 301 - 310

Day 301:

We got some new INC clothing in at work and this is one of my favorite outfits! I had to dress the mannequins and there were some many people that walked by and tried the dress on because of the mannequin. It's one of the cutest dresses INC has come out with in a long time!

Day 302:

I bought this shirt at work the other day for $7! Some of the patterns were on sale and this was one of them so I got the awesome deal.

Day 303:

Sara and I saw The Next Three Days at the $1.99 theater on Friday night. It was pretty good! There was a lot more planning at the beginning and not too much action, but I would definitely see it again.

Day 304:

[picture to come soon]

My brothers, 2 girls from work, and I went downtown on Saturday night and had so much fun. It was pretty busy in some of the bars, but it was a blast! We also ended up eating at The Grill around 2:30 AM, and let me tell you, a grilled cheese after a night downtown is delicious. It was the best thing I had eaten all week!

Day 305:

Ru Sans has to be the best sushi place in Athens. Granted, I haven't been to any of the other ones, but it's delicious! I think Sara and I go about 2 times a week now and it never gets old.

Day 306:

I started the seventh season of Will & Grace; I am flying through that series! It starts off my mornings with a laugh, but it will never replace Friends :)

Day 307:

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Reunion show came on Tuesday so of course I had to watch it. There were some parts that were interesting, but all in all, it was more low key than I thought it was going to be.

Day 308:

I ordered some shoes from work (this style, but in brown)...as if I haven't bought enough stuff lately. They were so cute and I've been waiting for them to go on sale, they were 50% off and there was a 20% coupon so I jumped on the sale! We didn't have them in the store so I had to order them, I'm ready for them to be delivered!

Day 309:

Kerry and I went to the Joshua Radin concert in Atlanta last night. He was awesome! I'll try to post some pictures and a video this weekend.

Day 310:

I received my Urban Outfitters' shipment today! I'll also be making another post about everything soon.

WISH LIST: UO

The other day, I went on to Urban Outfitters and put everything that I would love having in my shopping cart. Needless to day, I was up to over $650 in a matter of seconds. There were about 50 items, but I couldn't stop adding stuff! They have some really awesome deals going on right now and everything is so appealing. If I had a fraction of that money laying around I would buy some things, but sadly, I'm back on a budget. I'll hold it all in my shopping cart until it's out of stock or they clear it out, maybe by then I would have been able to buy some of it! Since I'm sure you don't want to see everything I picked out, I'll post some of my favorites!

$18.00

$29.99

$7.99

$11.99

$19.99

$19.99

Some of my favorite things were gone today :( But they still have these up! In case you haven't noticed, I have  a love-hate relationship with Urban Outfitters; if I had more money to spend, that would definitely become a love-love relationship. Oh, the possibilities!

DAYS 285 - 293

Day 285:

We were stuck in the house for a couple of days because of the snow. We got close to 6 inches so there was no way we were even going to try and leave. The snow was so pretty and it delayed school so I didn't mind it :)

Day 286:

Day 287:

Although school was delayed, I still had 2 classes. My morning started off with Midlife and Elder Years, which I can tell will be one of the classes I doodle in. It's just not that interesting!

Day 288:

$4.99 for four Tommy Hilfiger mugs?? Yes, please! The TF holiday stuff went on sale so I decided to purchase the coffee cups. They all have different designs on them and they are very cute. I used one tonight for tea!

Day 289:

House party with Sara? Of Course! It was a nice ending to a long day :)

Day 290:

This book is so good so far! I haven't really had that much time to read, but so far it's been awesome. I'm so ready to finish it and see the movie when it comes out!

Day 291:

This movie was showing at the $1.99 theater so we had to go. And the movie did not disappoint. Robert Downey Jr. was hilarious and of course Zach Galifianakis kept me laughing.

Day 292:

The rest of the Tommy Hilfiger stuff went on sale so I bought 3 packs of the candles. I figure they will make good presents for next years gift exchange up in Rome.

Day 293:

My night = Beauty and the Beast + making cookies. I absolutely love the beginning of the semester where you don't have to worry about classes yet. It's amazing.

DAYS 279 - 284

Day 279:

I decided to be a nice friend and help Katie out with her work on Wednesday. We ended up driving all over the place, getting some delicious chocolate from a bakery and trying to avoid the rain (which was easy for me since she was the one that kept having to get out of the car :) ). I didn't take a picture that day though so I thought I would just use this one from Junior Prom!

Day 280:

I didn't get this exact shirt, but I picked up a Glee shirt at work for under $5! The one I bought is a gray t-shirt that has WMHS written across the front of it. I never thought I would wear a  shirt like that, but for that price and the fact that the show is amazing, I had to have it :)

Day 281:

This isn't the greatest picture, but the clouds were so pretty!

Day 282:

So, as you can see, I can't stay away from shopping! But, I got yet another awesome deal and bought a scarf just like this one from work for only $3. Who would turn down that deal?!

Day 283:

Happy Birthday Dad!! I hope you had a great one today :)

Day 284:

Technically, the day has started. Therefore, I'm going to use this picture I took a while ago! The snow is coming down so hard right now! It's been snowing for a couple of hours and we probably have over 4 inches. School was supposed to star tomorrow, but they canceled it so the semester is off to a great start :)

CHRISTMAS...STILL?!

First off, I am planning some big changes for my little blog :) Hopefully, I'll follow through with everything, but soon there might be a new name, new banner, and new layout. I still haven't picked everything out yet, but look for some changes soon!

Now, I hope everyone had a happy new year! I'm still riding the high of Christmas so this post will be filled with presents and of course more shopping!

my present to my grandma! the lyrics are from the song that my aunt sang at my grandpa's funeral :)

all of my awesome Mary Poppins present from my dad and step-mom. the snow globe plays "Chim Chim Cheree," the cup says "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious," and the umbrella is just like the one she has in the movie! i felt like a little kid opening those presents :)

------------------------

Now, on to today's shopping trip!

I used up the rest of my Barnes & Noble giftcard, used some of the Forever 21 giftcards, and I could NOT pass up the Vera Bradley bag! I love it!

My favorite purchase of the day though was the earrings from Forever 21. I've been looking for some this color and for only $1.50, I had to get them!

I'm going to cheat again and say that this post is for days 273 - 278. I PROMISE there will be actual picture for each day next time!

------------------------

By the way, I suggest you all listen to this song on repeat. It is amazing!

PLAYING CATCH UP :)

I can't believe I haven't posted anything in over a month! Since I haven't really been keeping up with my 365 days of pictures thing, I'm just going to say that this post constitutes Days 237 - 272 :)

*This past semester finally ended earlier on in the month, so since then, I've been home! It's pretty easy just to drive back and forth to work and I've been able to hang out with some friends that live at home so it's been a great situation :)

*Work has been crazy (part of the reason I haven't really updated)! The holidays bring out the worst in some people and I've dealt with really rude customers and with some crazy clothing situations. I think since I haven't ever worked retail during the holidays, I didn't know what to expect, so it has been a shock! Now, I know how to handle next Christmas if I'm still at Macy's!

*I found something out about my major that is very exciting! If I take a certain set of classes, I can go through with a Family Life Education certificate. After graduating, I will spend 2 years in a certain setting (a hospital preferably) and then I will have my official certificate. I think that's how it works! All I know is that it sounds perfect.

*SHOPPING...SHOPPING...SHOPPING...SHOPPING. Holy moly! I have done so much shopping in the past month it isn't even funny. It wasn't even all for Christmas! I really hope I can cut back soon or I won't have any money left! :)

*I haven't been reading that much so I'm still in the middle of the last book I posted about, Lost. It's the one that puts a twist A Christmas Carol and so far, it's okay. I can't really get into it, but I'll give it another 50 pages before I decide if I'm going to keep reading it. (P.S. I got the rest of the Harry Potter series for Christmas so I'll probably be reading those soon!)

*Bravo has become officially my favorite television station! Of course, I love all of the Real Housewives and Millionaire Matchmaker and now I have added Top Chef to the list. When I was sick the other day, I just stayed in bed and watched a marathon. It was so awesome! It was so cool to watch people create meals from things I would never think go together. I really don't think my TV has been on another channel.

*WE HAD A WHITE CHRISTMAS! For the first time since 1882 :) It started snowing about half way through the day and didn't stop until the middle of the night. FINALLY! It really completed Christmas :)

*Mom and I still haven't made final decisions for New York in March (hurry up already!!) but hopefully that will happen soon! When we finally make the decisions, I'll start booking all of the Broadway shows and the tours that we are going to be participating in...ahhhhhhh I can't wait!

*For Christmas and just for the heck of it, I have expanded my movie and TV collection so much! I have a lot of TV watching to do...I now have the entire Will & Grace series, the first season of Glee, the second season of True Blood, and the sixth season of Grey's Anatomy. I've also been watching 30 Rock and Dexter so I'll probably be picking those up soon :)

*By the way, I have had Mumford and Sons, Jason Aldean, and Adele playing on repeat. Their CD's are all amazing!

Ok, so that's enough of what's been happening with me for the past month! I'll try and catch up on everyone's blogs soon so expect some comments :) I hope everyone had a great Christmas and everyone has a safe and happy New Year!

UO

I did something that I'm pretty sure I shouldn't have done. I spent too much money at UrbanOutfitters.com. I couldn't help it! Some of the things I bought have been sitting in my check out cart for a very long time so I decided to bite the bullet and go ahead and get them. At least I know that if something doesn't work out, I can just return them!

$49.99
I know that's qutie a bit to spend on a bag, but I've been wanting one for a really long time! And I got 10% plus free shipping so it was only $45 :)

$9.99
Apparently, I got one of the last one of these! They aren't showing up anymore, so it was a good choice :) I've been needing a new wallet that I have better access to my cards and money so I'm hoping this one does the trick!

$14.99
My sandals broke right at the end of summer, so I decided to stock up on more sandals for next year while they're on sale.

$6.99
These are also practical for work!

$12.99
I honestly think I'll get the most use out of these.

So all in all, I think I did pretty good with the sales! I'm excited to get all of this in the mail and even though I had a hard time pressing the check-out button, everything will be put to good use!

**Urban Outfitters has a deal going on for the next week where you can get free shipping if you spend over $75, which trust me, is a very easy thing to do (normally to get free shipping you have to spend $150). Just enter GETSTUFFED at checkout!
